A Meticulous, Hard-working and Focused professional having long track record of identifying probable risks, preventing accidents and implementing safety regulations as per International and National Safety standards. He is also a team-oriented, resilient and have a self-consistent personality, along with a very precise and goal-oriented working style. Currently He is working in a fulltime position in Oil & Gas sector as Environment, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS) Focal point in Quality & Risk function.

Throughout my career his Career, He has worked in different levels in the field of Quality (Q), Health & Safety and Environment (HSE), Energy (En), Asset management system starting from an implementer, external consultant, external third party certification auditor and EHS Focal point for regulatory purpose. The QHSE, En, Asset management systems were developed as per the International standards like ISO 9001 for Quality, ISO 14001 for Environment, OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health & Safety, ISO 50001 for Energy and ISO 55001 for Asset management. As part of the management system development, implementation and maintenance, He had prepared several policies, procedures, plans and standard operational procedures in different sectors like Manufacturing, Engineering construction, Oil & Gas and General service sectors.

His ultimate aim towards implementing any management system is to identify the maximum potential risks and ensure the mitigation measures are defined to minimize the chances of failure. He had conducted several man-days of external audits and public trainings (in-house and public) on the above mentioned ISO standards both  locally and internationally. Currently, he is also registered as QMS, EMS and OH&S Principal Auditor with IRCA, UK and OHSMS Generalist (Grade A) & OSHMS Lead Auditor with Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Centre (OSHAD) and a Professional Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

HSE WORK PROFILE

Currently working for Bechtel-Petrofac JV (EPCM) at the Al Taweelah Alumina Refinery Project as an ES&H Manager for SMP, civil works, pre-commissioning activities, etc. Involved in managing day to day ES&H related activities and issues pertaining to the subcontractors at the construction site and lay-downs.

Worked at Abu Dhabi International Airport construction site –Midfield Terminal Extension Project (Client – Abu Dhabi Airports Company) looking after on behalf of NAFFCO.

Worked in Mondalez, Bahrain He was actively involved in attending the main contractor’s weekly HSE meetings, investigating accidents, safe erecting and dismantling of the placing booms.

He also had the overall responsibility of fulfilling the quality & safety requirements of all the sites of Mondalez plants in Bahrain during its construction phase. He also looked after the safety requirements of the company’s transit mixers, concrete pumps (static and mobile), placing booms, erecting and dismantling of the entire plants, the central vehicle workshop, environment monitoring, waste management, auditing, etc.

Installation, maintenance and commissioning of fire and security alarm systems in high-rise commercial buildings, malls, hotels and residential apartments. Maintenance and installation of FM200 system, dry and wet risers, all types of fire extinguishers, wet chemical system for kitchen hoods and looking after the HSE requirements.
