Buy a sim card:
I saw many people who come for a job search in Dubai, they waste their time and money. First of all to achieve the primary objective of Dubai visit is to find a job in Dubai. To avoid time contact your friend or relative in Dubai or in UAE to arrange a sim card for you. Once they buy the sim card you can receive that sim card here from the courier company. Sky Net a courier company charge 40 AED to send a sim card to Pakistan. You can check rates of sending sim card to your country here. It will take 3 days to arrive. If you don’t have any relative or friend there then no issue, you can still find jobs in UAE or jobs in Dubai. You will use this sim number on your CV and sending emails before coming to Dubai to get job in Dubai.
Which visa is best to get a job in Dubai?
3-month visit visa is the best visa type you should take to get a job in Dubai. Many people take 1-month visit visa that is not good for finding jobs in Dubai. 1 month is very short time for finding jobs in Dubai. Thousands of jobs are produced by UAE market on the daily basis. Some companies like banks, insurance companies, and big organization usually take more than 1 month time period for hiring. If you come on 1-month visit visa then you will lose that chance of getting a job in big organizations. I have seen many students who come here on a 1-month visit visa but when they go back to their home country they receive interview call but they could not give an interview. I always recommend getting a 3-month visit visa.
The cost of 90 days visit visa is around 1000 AED.
What documents are required and which Documents has to be attested to get job in Dubai?
First of all here is the list of document that you should bring with you in Dubai
- Your country national identity card
- 02-Copies of your parents identity card
- 24 passport size colored photo
- Driving License if you have ( otherwise not necessary)
- 2 – colored copies of passport ( passport copy will help in case of emergency)
Here is list of academic documents that you should take for finding jobs in Dubai
- Original school education certificate
- Original College certificates
- Original university certificates
- Original diploma certificate ( if you have)
- Original any extra documents like top achievement certificate in school, college or university, character certificate or any other related certificate
You should attest your college and university certificates and a diploma from relevant education body then ministry of foreign affair and at last from UAE embassy. There are many jobs that are given on the spot to that person who have complete education certificates and all certificates are attested.
If you are in that field that requires portfolio like architecture, graphic designer etc. then always bring your portfolio in USB or if possible on hard copy.
If you have an international driving license then always bring driving license. Companies always prefer in UAE to give those person jobs who have driving license. The person who has an international driving license is always given more preference.

After applying for online jobs start visiting Business buildings and offices and ask for any job. whenever you enter in the company office ask receptionist that you want to meet HR officer. Drop your CV there.
Salary negotiation:
At start, you will be given low salary but to accept any salary from employer first make your budget. If you are comfortable with that salary then you should take that job. Otherwise reject it. If any employer offers you a salary always counter the employer and say them to increase your salary. Usually, employer increases the salary on the spot.
